Gallardo

A magnificent dark bay gelding, He was bought for a young girl but he proved to be far too big for her. He was a good example of how different a horse can be when time is taken to develop a relationship, build trust and respect is nurtured from the ground, long before he is ridden. The young girl was not interested in doing this and soon tired of even riding him now and again and just left him.

The haven adopted him and he now is ridden by very small children and is a protector and teacher and continues to be so. Our little Bonny found it hard to be accepted by the other horses and when Flash was born we were concerned that he would be at risk, Gallie stepped in and became their protector and a teacher as well to flash. A wonderful family group developed and there is complete hero worship by Flash which is often copied by the children.
